Toddlers are children who are now past the 12 months of age, and are in the years of 1 to 3 years old.

What Should My Toddler Be Doing?

At this age the growing child is now having desires to complete certain actions on their own. Typically around this age the child has now learned to walk on their own, as well as being able to pick up certain objects without the help. 

Signs of Progression:

  • Anal Stage
  • Beginning to speak more fluent and become proper in their language
  • Learn correct responses when asked something
  • Learning to manipulate items
  • Learning right from wrong
  • Aware of sexual identity 

Teaching your Toddlers

  • Begin to potty-train
  • Communicate with your child by asking easy questions
  • Playing with your child's toys in front of them
  • Teaching your child right from wrong
  • Informing the child on what identifies them
