Prenatal & Infancy Period

The "prenatal period" is the very first stage within the production of a human being. The prenatal period is the pregnancy of a woman over the course of a 9 months span in order to produce a fully developed child.

How to Maintain a Healthy Pregnancy

  • Eat well
  • Exercise
  • Minimal to no stress
  • Don't smoke or drunk
  • SLEEP! 

Infants

This stage begins when your little one is born into the world. Your child is no longer a fetus, but now an infant! Infants range from 0-12 months of age and hasn't quite fully advanced in their mobility stage.  

Signs of Development In Your Infant

  • Increase in body mobility
    • Raising arms, kicking legs, reaching, crawling, gripping, etc.
  • Being able to utilize their mouths
  • Showing their personality, able to express themselves through emotions
  • Showing first forms of communication

How Can I, As A Parent, Help?

  • Develop a bond
  • Interact with your child in a playful way
  • Interact with your child, make cooing and babbling noises
  • Assisting in your child oral stage
